Thanks for writing and asking your excellent questions. They are certainly deserving of some consideration.

God does truly desire that His sons and daughters be involved in reconciling the world back to Himself. The apostle Paul declared that we have been given "the ministry of reconciliation."

We must understand how this reconciliation is to be accomplished, however. You asked whether we were to exercise faith in God's grace and produce the first fruits that He desires.

It should be understood that mankind is the "first fruits," not the actions of the saints. Also, we can only exercise faith in God's word. We cannot exercise faith in God's grace.

The Scriptures declare that "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." I have written many things on this subject, including the recent post titled "Understanding Faith and Healing."

This is actually a great key to answering your question. We are not to be led of our soul in determining what actions we are to offer unto God. God must ever be the initiator of the works of man. We are called to be "led of the Spirit" in all things.

Our responsibility is to hear God's voice and obey. That keeps things pretty simple, yet this is not as easy as it may sound. There are prerequisites for being able to discern God's voice.

In order to hear God, we must be committed to obeying whatever He speaks to us. We must have counted the cost and agreed to follow Christ wherever He would lead us. Many, having failed to make such a commitment have a very difficult time discerning God's voice. Why Should God speak to those who have no commitment to obedience?

To comprehend this entire matter, and it is a VERY IMPORTANT one, I would encourage you to read the book Sabbath. It can be found at the following link:

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

I have been struggling with how to act in these times. The Lord's Prayer tells us "Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven…" I am conflicted here. Are we supposed to work to bring Heaven to Earth or are we to wait for Him to bring Heaven to Earth? I am not sure if I am to be a participant or a spectator.

Given what we seen every day now, I do feel that a huge reawakening could be at hand and that action by His Elect could accomplish what the Lord's Prayer tell us to do. Just imagine a humble leader who clearly states he is for truth, for Christ, for Israel and against Satan and Islam, and seeks to bring about political change in alignment with God. (I know that this is also what some say the Deceiver will try to do and this is why I am seeking your input.)

Understanding that salvation is by Grace are we to standby in our "blessed humbleness" as sinners before God while He works His plan? Or are we to act by our faith in His Grace and produce the "first fruits."

How much responsibility do we have?

In all the writings on the internet concerning the Rapture, the Second Coming and End Times, the questions i ask myself most is "what can I do?" And I am sure others have this question too.

If you could think about that I bet you will find a very strong response. Everyone wants to know what they should do in these times to be a faithful servant.

May God continue to Bless you,

Kindest regards,

D Randall

Your words uplift my spirit in the hour i feel most cast down, but my trial will never be in vain, even though sometimes i feel forsaken. but truly, my life is in his hands. and truly i have learned that in following the will of the Father, and taking up ones cross, the only prayer i can bring my self to utter when i feel the tempest raging, is Lord, not my will but yours be done. slowly i feel my will and myself breaking, and truly the process of death is agonizing, but i can do nothing but give up my life, because i dare not turn back now. so i ask the Lord, is my trouble a mystery to you, or have you turned a blind eye to my suffering and pain? with a wearied breath, i answer my own question, of course not, you pulled me out of the world and asked me to walk boldly before you. though you called me, i accepted the invitation. though i am lonely and in pain, i have solace in knowing that i am on the straight and narrow path and all my steps are specifically directed by God, both joyful and painful ones. and now at a time i needed encouragement the most, our great Lord and Father has sent me that encouragement, once again through your writings. So i say refreshed and revived yet once again, LORD, NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS BE DONE!!!! AMEN.

I love you Brother Herrin, thank you. you have no idea what you have done.
