I grew up in a Christian church keeping that Sabbath and "The Almighty Father's" holidays days! The way you explained is exactly how we were taught and studying in our bible's! May Yeshua bless you…

You are correct. Yahweh instructed Moses to observe the seven moedim (appointed times) that you have listed. Purim and Hanukkah were never instituted by Yahweh to be observed. They were added by men in a very similar fashion to the Jews adding two more candles to the Temple menorah to create the Hanukiah.

I look forward to reading your post.
My understanding is that there are in fact 7
true Holy days, according to God.
(in the springtime) :
1.Passover
2.Unleavened Bread
3.Firstfruits
4.Pentecost
(in the autumn):
5.Trumpets
6.Atonement
7.Tabernacles
_ and that they can be found in Exodus 12, Leviticus 23 and 25, and Numbers 29.

Thank you for writing and sharing your excellent question. I intend to address the Scripture verse you cited (John 10:22) in an upcoming post in this series. I too have heard many Hebrew Roots enthusiasts use the verse to suggest that Christ celebrated the Feast of Dedication. I think once they see all the evidence that it would be very difficult to continue to support such a conclusion.

Your point(s) regarding syncretism and these
holly days are well taken.
I am reminded that the Gospel of John at 10:22
shows us Jesus at the temple during the "Feast of Dedication", and I wonder why the Gospel writer would even mention it. Could the the point be that the leaders of the temple at that time were indeed misled themselves and halfway into pagan practices? Because I've heard the point made that
Jesus' presence there shows tacit approval of the
tradition.
