From your articles on Deception and that article, I come to the conclusion that these guys are not just getting a bit of poison mixed in their otherwise drinkable water, but are actually drinking from the poison bottle thinking it's water!
Interesting that while I was reading that article, the warning of Paul about making new converts leaders came to mind, and then I read it in your article, which was basically a confirmation.
And I totally agree about the denial of the Christian's need to take our personal cross as one of the root causes of all the other errors that creep in. Your series gave me great clarity as to WHY these things happen and HOW we can avoid being caught up in this spiritual blindness.
I believe that many of these people are well-meaning, but you can be most sincerely wrong. Just as practising new agers really think they are healing and bringing good things when they lay hands on you in reiki practices, or visualize a blue ray of light to bless you. These guys for the most part are absolutely convinced they are doing great things for Christ. What an awful surprise when they hear Him denying them not just the rewards they expect for their great service, but even entrance to Heaven!
