Regarding Oral Roberts, he did say some years back that God told him if he didn't raise a million dollars for the college that God was going to take his life. As far as a charge of prostitution, I am not aware of that.

We should ever keep in mind that a man may have a true call as a minister, yet be as unfaithful as Balaam of old. "The gifts and callings of God are without repentance."

It is the duty of Christians to test all things, and to examine all prophetic utterances. Those who only see the man for either good, or bad, will eventually get into error. The word must be tested.

They mentioned Oral Roberts and one of his "visions" in 2004. I'm not trying to diss anyone here but I personally question Oral Roberts has credibility here. Wasn't he the one that said God told him that He (God) needed 1 million dollars for a school or something and that Roberts followers needed to start sending in money? I may be mistaking him for another preacher, but wasn't he caught with a prostitute sometime ago? I know nobody is perfect and not trying to be judgmental or condemning towards this guy, but my discernment tells me to watch his credibility. Who knows, he may have had a true conversion for Christ since then, only the Lord knows. Sorry, not trying to sound harsh here.

I looked at the pages you provided links to. There is much that is interesting occurring in the news at this time. We are certainly in the last days before the return of the Lord. We should expect that we would see great evil occurring for the earth must grow very dark before the return of Christ.

I cannot offer a judgment on all of the various conjectures of the writer, for I have not examined all of the issues he writes about, or received understanding from the Lord on many of them. I have been led to look at other subjects of late.

I think it is good to know that the hour is very late, while at the same time seeking to get our own houses in order by doing those things the Spirit of Christ directs us to do.

I read a news report on the NASA impacts on the moon. It is stated that they were checking to see if there was water present in the debris plume that was kicked up from the impact.

Water is a necessary ingredient for life as we know it. Therefore, scientists have long been curious to find out if there is water present on various heavenly bodies. They have been seeking the same information on Mars, and elsewhere.

I suspect there is a parable in this search for evidence of life. Man is on a quest to find life. Some of the early explorers of America were looking for the fabled "fountain of youth." They did not find it in the "New World" and scientists today will not find life in the "new worlds" that they are exploring.

Christ is "the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE." In Him is the life that all men need. Yet America seems intent, above all other nations, to turn away from the one true source of life and to look for it in places where there is no life.

This was observed in President Obama choosing to not participate in the historically Christian National Day of prayer. Yet he removed his shoes and bowed down facing Mecca as he joined thousands of Muslims who came to Washington D.C. to pray to Allah, and to honor their prophet Mohammed.

America has been given over to a pursuit of futility, both in the natural and spiritual realms.

Consider the words of the Lord, "Woe to those who give suck in that day." He is speaking of a day of judgment, and that God's people would find it very difficult if they are nursing children at the time. The Scriptures state that children are a blessing from God, but it also says that it will be very bad for those who receive this particular blessing at that time.

Judgment must come. Yahweh has testified of these things for many years. Look at the list of signs described in the article "A Chronology of Events." It is true that these things will be terrible, but the earth must go through her birthpangs before the sons of God can be revealed.
