Thank you for this. The one word that stuck out for me was sobriety.
Sometimes my kids as of late have accused me of looking mad or depressed. Sober is the right word.

In pro basketball there is a player who changed his name to "World Peace". Now he's been suspended for a violent act. Could this be symbolic ? A blow to the head (Washington, DC) ?
