Thank you for writing back. I very much encourage you to read the book "Sabbath" that I previously recommended to you. As mentioned, it is NOT focused on the types and shadows of Sabbath. You mentioned being a Sabbath keeper, yet what you are referring to is an observance of the types and shadows of Sabbath. There is a spiritual substance to Sabbath rest that is far more important in the eyes of Yahweh, and which few of His sons have entered into.

In your comment you wrote:

"But I also believe that God gives me room to make my own choices in as much as I would allow my son one day to make his own choices but I do recognise that we mostly move out of soulish desire which enslaves us and responsible sons in the kingdom have the freedom to make their own choices because they have proven to YHWH that they are capable to might the right decisions."

If you will read the book "Sabbath" you will find that this mindset you expressed, though very common, is not in harmony with the mind of Yahshua. If there was ever any Son who was qualified to make His own choices, it was Yahshua. Yet we find that He never made a decision, or even spoke a word of His own initiative. He did ONLY that which the Father showed Him to do, and spoke only those words the Father commanded Him to speak. Note how many times in the following verses that Yahshua testifies that He does NOTHING of His own INITIATIVE.

John 5:30
"I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”

John 8:28
Yahshua therefore said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.”

John 8:42
Yahshua said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me; for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.”

John 12:49
"For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me commandment, what to say, and what to speak.”

John 14:10
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.”

What Yahshua has described here is the spiritual substance of Sabbath rest. It is a man coming to the end of His own works even as the Father rested from His (Hebrews 4:10).

This is a profound subject. What you believe and do in relation to this topic will greatly effect your life and future inheritance in Yahshua. For this reason I entreat you to prayerfully, humbly, and patiently, read the book I have recommended.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

I thought I kept on inputting the "please prove that your not a robot" phrase wrong. My family and I do keep the sabbath and we keep the feasts. I believe in a life of faith and like yourself I too have discovered that blind faith is not of Elohim and that is currently the main stream theology out there. But I also believe that God gives me room to make my own choices in as much as I would allow my son one day to make his own choices but I do recognise that we mostly move out of soulish desire which enslaves us and responsible sons in the kingdom have the freedom to make their own choices because they have proven to YHWH that they are capable to might the right decisions. I have recently been convicted by the spirit to learn to roll my works upon my Father. I felt he said, its not that Elohim want to change all the your desire because some are of Him, he wants to direct you on the best path on how to get their as son would and can expect from an experienced Father. Anyway you article had me thinking about a lot of things again regarding faith. I am glad I read it and should thank my wife because she said, hey hubbie here is a guy that thinks like you. Well more aptly put that thinks likes Elohim, lead of the Ru'ach.

They are sent to me by e-mail for review before they are posted.

Regarding your question, it is the will of Yahweh that His sons be led of the Spirit in all that they do. This certainly includes one's occupation. Whatever we do, we are commanded to do our work heartily, as unto Yahweh (Colossians 3:23).

I very much recommend the book "Sabbath" to you if you wish to understand this subject of living a surrendered life in a far deeper manner. The book reveals the substance of Sabbath rest, whereas most of the church is familiar only with the shadows contained in the Old Testament.

Sabbath

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days

I hope you are well. Just a question. So you are in summary saying that if Elohim has called you to be an accountant, bell the accountant you can be through faith by the leading of Ru'ach? Regards

As usual your posts convict and at the same time encourage me.
I've been reading a lot of past posts and a couple of your books, too. The teachings have certainly stirred a desire to be among the overcomers participating in the first resurrection. They keep me coming back for more.
I'm praying for wisdom and discernment for us all, because I fully agree that most of the church is soulish and flesh-minded and I'm little by little growing out of it.
