Dear Brother Joseph, thank you for sharing this spiritual insight and I thank the Father for giving it to you as you have prayed and sought. Tears just flowed as revelation hit me while reading, as I too have pondered the REAL meaning of "begotten Son" for many years. I am blessed to read and understand. Just wanted to let you know and you are faithfully remembered in prayer by The Walkers (your newsletters continue to be a blessing to my husband, Thank you) and The Liebermanns, Love in Yeshuah, Your Sister Dalene

I will be addressing your question regarding Isaiah 9:6 in the next post in the Foundation series. Stay tuned.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days,

Just one question though. In isaiah 9:6 reads:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace".

If this a description of the Son of God then one of the attributes is everlasting, does not that imply an eternal existence without creation? Or does it mean that Jesus has no end of Days?

If Jesus had a point in time when he was created, with him being the only begotten of the Father, would that mean he implicitly inherits the attributes of the Father including being everlasting. Is that what Isaiah 9:6 is implying

Thanks

Mark St

Yes, this is hard to understand for some. There is a difference between creation from nothing, and Christs' coming forth from the Father.
I liken it to the crude earthly form of pro-creation. My children were once in me, but in order for them to be in this world and be a part of God's plan, they must take on a different form through the process of pro-creation. Just like our Father had Christ come forth for His purpose, as you described.
And that process of Him coming forth you described, it very much enlightened me. This should be a very interesting series.
