The Spirit of the Lord is truly moving amongst His people. May we pray with a holy passion that others will be touched by our Spirit-filled lives. God bless you and your ministry, Joseph. Maranatha

This is part of the article. I felt the numbers were intriging. Your thoughts?
Peace,

I written to you on a few occasions and recieved a great deal of confirmation from your words. I've been listening to your audio series and found it timely and wonderful. So much of what I've felt being led towards and things that I felt o had been spoken to about by the Father have been confirmed. The listen up was brought home to me June 17 of last year, when I didn't listen to that voice and my dog, of the two puppies, was shot in the face and it broke her jaw. I clearly had a message about the Sherrif showing up to the false alarm from earlier. I thought about bringing the dogs in but then talked myself out of it because they were already asleep in the woods behind the house. I had just taken my son and the kids down the street to vacation bible school and it was around 9 am and already pushing 90 degrees. Sure enough the sherriff showed up and walked around the house and shot her as she came out of the woods to greet him. They weren't barking but he freaked out and shot her. Of i had listened it wouldn't have happened that way. Now she's peantly disfigured and took 9 months to get her healthy. When I listen things always work out. I'm working hard to make listening the priority. I want to make sure it's the spirit and not the soul. Praise God for your obedience. Lead us on into the fast approaching storm.

Yes, the word allegory would be a fitting word in the present vernacular to describe the natural events I write about that show forth spiritual truth. However, the word Parable is employed in Scriptures in a broader sense than you have defined it. Bible parables are often related to natural events. Following are a couple of examples.

Matthew 24:32-33
"Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door."

Christ was describing not a fictional story, but a natural event that was observable. He then declared that this natural event served as a parable of spiritual truth. Following is another example.

Matthew 13:35
"I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world."

In the presentation titled "Parables" I have shared how these words quoted by Christ from Psalm 78:2 are a veiled reference to spiritual truths that Yahweh hid in the creation from the very beginning. The six days of creation are themselves a deep spiritual parable, for everything God does is by design to show forth spiritual truths of His kingdom.

When I use the word parable, I do not use it in the more strict sense that some apply to it today. I employ it in the wider Biblical sense of something hidden that will be unveiled to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Whether the truth is hidden in a fictional story, the design of creation, or an occurrence in the creation, in this wider sense it is a parable.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

I believe it would be more accurate to call your teachings "allegories" instead of "parables". Allegory is defined as a symbolic representation where concrete things are assigned metaphorical or figurative meanings.

On the other hand, a parable is a short fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle. It does not employ symbolism to the extent of allegory, but focuses on the principle being taught using a realistic, but fictious story.

That is the kind of superstition I can always do with. If following GOD is superstitious than let it be said of me that I am the same. HIS voice is audible in our lives in all aspects, but we are deaf and fail to hear it. I am no different. Many times an event transpires and I am sleeping through it instead of gleaning the lesson or wisdom the FATHER is relaying to me at that instant.
OH! That HE would rend the heavens and come down. I eagerly await the return of the HOLY ONE as I know you do brother. GOD bless you and Randy and smart move fixing the gas spout vapor seal…..Steve Hollander
