A person can certainly get off into error and speculation by trying to ponder the meaning of numbers excessively. I generally look for a witness of the Spirit in such things. For example, when I was recently incarcerated I was put in jail cell number 40. I knew that the Father was giving me a testimony through this, and the Spirit bore witness that it would be affirmed through Psalm 40. 40 is also a number denoting divine discipline, as well as trials and testing. The correlations were obvious and unmistakable to me.

When my daughter came to visit me the first time, she was given visitor badge number 91. Once more the Spirit testified that this related to the Psalm of that same number. Christ said, "My sheep hear My voice." I listen for the sound of His voice. It is recognizable, for He is my Shepherd, and I am accustomed to His voice.

This does not mean that I am not also tempted to speculate at times. I have done so in the past and been in error. We all need to learn the discipline and patience of not going beyond what the Father has revealed to us. As we mature, we should find ourselves making progress in this area.

I do not think it is possible to overestimate the degree to which the Father speaks through a myriad of signs, parables, and numbers. He is the Great Communicator. His Son is called the Living Word. He is always speaking, and those who have ears to hear can hear His voice. To observe some of the profound ways that Yahweh speaks through numbers, I recommend that you read the blog post titled "Gospel Chemistry." Just do a search on this title in the search field at the top right hand side of the blog and you will find it.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

Your brief statement re -5.55% got me started looking at the associated/supporting numbers; I used E. W. Bullinger as a resource: they all reinforced one and another in meaning. I don't claim to be able to accurately interpret such but I was amazed by the consistency.

I did the same with today's numbers:11239.77 +429.92‎ (3.98%‎)( it initially read 3.97%); I came up with a set of meanings that reinforced the previous numbers.

I am looking at these yesterday and it arises in my mind that all these number fit together to make a statement as Hebrew letters work together not only to make a word but they have their own internal meanings what work together/reinforce/and modify the word's surface meaning. is this valid?

Another question arises as to correctly associating the results or is such done to merely get a sense of what is occurring but not a clear statement?

Another question is can one move from lower to higher levels of meaning within a number: 3.98 can be read as 3+9+8 = 20 or as 3+17 (3+(9+8)); reading the decimal point as a division between numbers. Yes, this is getting odd but just initial analysis yields meanings that reinforce the lower meaning.

I really do not want to become the equivalent of of reading import into things merely by random association: I am driving in an Impala down a street named Parker, along side a lake named Mill Pond abandoned to natural processes, and I must stop to let Canada geese cross the road; and the geese are a year round flock and one of the geese is limping; And I am in NJ: therefore, what is God's message.
