We as Christians MUST determine NOW how we will respond -to speak the truth of God in love but NOT COMPROMISE His Holy Word. Life in God has rewards to enjoy and persecutions to bear. He is our standard in this perverse generation. We can love without accepting homosexual sin. In Him alone is the power to be forgiven and walk with His light.

Thank you for your humility and transparency. James wrote "We all stumble in many ways." Yet, I would urge all saints to guard against the belief that they cannot experience victory over sin until they leave this flesh and are with Christ in heaven. This is one of Satan's cunning deceptions to cause Christians to lower their expectations and become more accepting of remaining in bondage.

Yahshua concluded the sermon on the mount with the words, "Therefore, you are to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect." Elsewhere we read that God is at work in the lives of Christians to conform them to the image of His Son, and that the Holy Spirit's goal is that we might attain to the fulness of the stature that belongs to Christ.

I have for many years confessed I Corinthians 10:13 when I was struggling with some temptation. Paul writes, "There has no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man. God is faithful who will not allow you to be tested (tempted, or tried) beyond your ability to bear it, but with the temptation will provide a way of escape."

What is revealed in these words is that we never have to sin. There is always grace available that we might walk through any temptation or trial victoriously. Yahweh will not permit His children to be overmastered by sin or Satan.

Satan had to get permission to touch Job, and Yahweh set limits to what Satan could do. The same is recorded when Satan sought permission to sift Peter as wheat. Yahweh does not desire that His sons and daughters sin. Yet, they must learn spiritual warfare which is why we are often beset with many trials and temptations.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

While the Lord is working to clear my land, I give in to temptation and fall many times. My heart condemns me and the Holy Spirit convicts me, yet often, I return to my vomit. What a true wretch I am. How amazing it is that the Savior strives with me as He does! What can I do but confess my sin and plead for mercy and the blood of Christ to wash me clean. Someday I will be perfect as He is…on the day I see Him face to face. Brethren, pray we see Him face to face soon.

By: Joseph Herrin https://parables.blog/push-back/#comment-1017 Wed, 31 Jul 2013 12:42:17 +0000 #comment-1017 I would like to address the supposition that those Christians who fall away, or become ensnared by some grievous sin, are not truly Christians. I do not believe it is possible to make universal judgments in this regard. As evil as the sin of homosexuality is, Yahweh called it an abomination, it is possible for a Christian who is a partaker of the Holy Spirit to fall into such a transgression.

Oftentimes when I have communicated to believers on the potential for born again Christians to sin grievously, I refer them to Paul's writings to the Corinthian church. Paul never denies that the members of this church are truly born again, blood bought members of Christ's body.

The transgressions present in this church were great. There was drunkenness and gluttony at their love feasts. There were members of the body who were having sexual relations with temple prostitutes. The members were coveting and defrauding one another, taking other Christians to court to sue them over material matters.

Despite all the sin present, Paul never concluded that these individuals were not born again. On the contrary, Paul chastised them for acting in a carnal (fleshly) manner when they were born again to be spiritual men and women. Paul reproved them for acting like "mere men," which is to say they were acting like those who had not been born again, when the truth is that they had.

Paul further warns them that because they are the temples of the Holy Spirit, that if they defile the temple, God will destroy them. He argues against Christians joining themselves to a prostitute using the argument that there is no fellowship between light and darkness, between Christ and Belial.

These arguments would have been empty if the people committing these sins were not truly born again of the Spirit.

Indeed, it is possible for Christians to sin grievously.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

I see this more and more everyday, even with so-called Christians I know. These people were never really Christians to begin with. They didn't know Him, because if they did, they would forsake everything in the world for him.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

A sin cast before the Israelites just before entering the promised land!

I've made mention of this in our small home church, but this plague that started in Numbers 25 was stopped by Phinehas son of Eleazar because he stabbed two particular people. For a very interesting reason the Holy Spirit gives us the names of these two people, Zimri and Cozbi. Zimri's name means musical or music, and Cozbi's name means false. So what was destroyed symbolically by Phinehas? The false music!

I mention this because you used two great examples recording artists who have assisted Satan in lulling the Church to sleep.

Also here is a great link to assist in this subject!

We'll be praying for you as THIS IS the "front line" of the spiritual battlefront and undoubtly creating an atmosphere for the antichrist to rise.

Dan 11:37 – 37
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Be blessed in Jesus name!
