Interesting the word "core" is used. Your blog strikes at the "core" of Yahweh's righteousness, and the contrast of the world's desire to deny Him.

We all know how this ends. Yahweh is victorious and Satan who know his time is short desperately lashes out.

Count it all joy you have been found worthy to bear public shame on the account of Yahweh's words to you.

I am reminded of John's words: (2:17) "His disciples remembered that it was written, "ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME."

God became a man so as to come to earth Himself, and what did His creation do? They murdered Him.

Jesus carried His cross, having told us Matthew 16:24

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me."

and

Matthew 10:38

"And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me."

What does His cross signify? Men made blasphemously murderous by the Truth, so much so that they could not silence Him by death fast enough.

Stephen, the first martyr (Acts 7), was dispatched this way: (vs 54) "Now when they heard this, they were cut to the quick, and they began gnashing their teeth at him."

I would quote Jude also, but there is too much there… I'd have to quote the entire book!

It was the Truth given to ungodly and unrighteous men that killed Jesus, Stephen and every martyr who has followed them. For this reason, I pray fervently for you and all those who accompany and follow you; for the protection of God and His holy angels against such who might seek to cut short your ministry in any way. May the will of God be done in this desperate hour, in His timing, for His pleasure; and God have mercy on those who mock and blaspheme, and on us all who have come to this grave judgment.

It is my opinion that we can gauge how closely we are following Him by how much we are reviled and mocked and persecuted and hunted and, yes, murdered and crucified. May we all be willing to follow this narrowest of narrow paths.
