Several months ago the LORD woke me up with 2 Peter 2:10 and said, 'A thousand churches will burn'. I read all of 2 Peter. It is about false teachers and their destruction. Several days ago, I prayed on this again and asked the LORD to give me some kind of confirmation. The same day the first headline on Yahoo news about the birds was "More than 1000 dead birds fall from Arkansas sky" . I sensed the birds represented the churches that would fall/burn. We did a massive study last year on everything Christmas as we wanted to make sure if this was truly pleasing to the LORD. What we found is that the phoenician goddess is the same as Asparte or Ashterah, whose worship involved child sacrifice at the ashterah pole. Ashterah and the word grove are the same. Deut. 16:21

2Kings 23:6 He (King Hezekiah) took the Asherah pole from the temple
of the Lord to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem and burned it there. He ground it to powder and scattered the dust over the graves of the common people. He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes, which were in the temple of the Lord and where women did weaving for the Asherah.

The King James version says "he brought out the grove" (the trees)/these wooden poles that were fashioned in such a way in the temple.

False churches, false worship, false leaders: Revelation 18:2 With a mighty voice he shouted: "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

I can say that my heart and spirit have been wrenched with grief and fear (reverant fear) for I believe this most definetly is a sign.
