Thank you for commenting. I do teach something quite different regarding tithing, however. The laws relating to tithing are a mere shadow of that fulness Christians are to walk in today. The tithe required a tenth to be dedicated to God, but in Christ ALL is dedicated to God. We have been bought with a price and are no longer our own. This includes all we possess. Christ said, "No man can be my disciple who does not give up ALL he possesses." Under the Law a man only had to give up 10%, but not so in Christ. We are to yield all we are and all we possess to the direction of the Spirit of Christ.

May you be blessed with peace and understanding in these days.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

In that passage Jesus affirms the act of tithing as something that should be still be done. We also know that Malachi tells us that if we tithe God will open up the windows of heaven for us=God's provision.
