Thank you for your comment. Just so you know, writing something in all caps on the Internet is the equivalent of shouting. Many people view it as rude to do so. I would not want your communications to be misconstrued by others when I doubt that your intent was to shout.

In your comment you stated that the disciples did not worship Christ. I suppose that depends upon your definition of worship. Some examples that could be construed as worship are as follows:

Just before the crucifixion Mary, sister of Lazarus and Martha, broke open a jar of very expensive perfume, pure nard, and poured it over Yahshua's feet, wiping His feet with her hair. Judas commented that the value of the perfume was a year's wages. This was an act of worship. (Mark 14:3, John 12:3)

After the resurrection, Mary Magdalene fell at the feet of Yahshua and clung to Him in an act of deep love and devotion. (John 20:11 ff)

After the resurrection Thomas was astonished at the appearing of Christ and declared, "My Lord and My God!" (John 20:28)

Many such examples could be cited. To avoid the confusion of what is actual worship, however, we could look to a number of Scriptures that actually state that Christ's disciples worshiped Him.

Matthew 28:8-9
And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. And behold, Yahshua met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.

Matthew 28:16-17
But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him…

Those are pretty straightforward declarations revealing that the disciples did worship Yahshua.

I've always felt I was "picking on" the Catholic Church because of some of their more obvious corruptions of God's Word, so it's good to see it so plainly laid out. Sadly, it opens my eyes to the fact that even my Baptist corporate worship is tainted.

To some who have countered your research, I would remind everyone that Satan's oldest and most reliable trick to wrap lies around a nugget of truth. The truth gets your buy-in so you don't question the details as much, but it still deosn't mean they aren't lies.

No. The fact that I am back posting these writings only indicates that the Spirit of Christ told me that I am to share these things with His people at this time. I am continuing in prayer for the guidance and power needed for the days ahead.

I suppose the same could have been said to Christ and His apostles. Once one begins to set forth truth, and to expose error, there will be some who would debate endlessly without ever being converted.

Nevertheless, the truth must be shared. I have often commented that the Spirit of Christ is focused primarily upon a ministry to the few at this season. The Father's eye is upon a firstfruits company that needs to come to maturity at this time. It is for such ones that the truth is declared.

It is not my intention to convert those who are incapable of being converted, nor those who are resisting the grace of God. I am setting forth food for the spiritually hungry. Let such ones as may come and partake freely of it.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal 2:20

I had to come out of the world and then babylon as I heard Him call me to follow . This is where peace and understanding has come.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Religious labels such as Catholic, Protestant and the many denomination (demoniations)are from the carnal mind which is hostile to God. Christ is not divided.

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Eph 4:1-7

We do not abort you but pray that your life in Christ may come forth as Lazrus form the grave. We (true brothers) are here to help remove the grave cloths as we have had them removed from us. Merciful are those who have received mercy to His praise.

The revelation of "the Christ" the Son of the living God given by our heavenly Father by His Holy Spirit is the solid rock foundation upon which the true church of God is built. Each true son of promise has this revealed unto him in his quickened spirit by the one work that only Jesus Christ is capable of doing. This is,was, and will be the purpose of His coming for to bring many sons to God.

Paul warned of another gospel or another Jesus being preached which was not by revelation of Jesus Christ.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Gal 1:11-12

I was raised in the Roman Catholic religion from my youth. At one time I had thought of being a Priest. Later on in my youth the old man took charge in his rebellious ways so I came to understand first hand what it is to be lost and a child of the evil one. My path in life has been down the road of many religions and self reforms with all ending in no true peace or true lasting change. It did not matter what name or label it came under such as Catholic,Baptist,Methodist, Pentecostal, Assemblies of God and even AA.

Please know that I have never advocated that the saints must meet on a specific day. Acts 4 relates that the saints were meeting "daily." Yet, the practice of meeting in the synagogues on the Sabbath (Saturday) was of such longstanding tradition that the early church, which arose among the Jewish people, continued to meet on that day. We read many references of the apostles teaching in the synagogues on the Jewish Sabbath.

Regarding Acts 20:7 and I Corinthians 16:2, I am not a Greek scholar, but I have read some who knew the language who say these passages are mistranslated. The actual reading is not, "on the first day of the week," but rather, "on one Sabbath."

If you have access to an Interlinear Greek and English Bible, you will find that certain words have been added to these verses, and Strong's Concordance does verify that this Greek word "Sabbaton" that is rendered as "week" in many English versions, does mean "Sabbath."

Regardless, I am not suggesting that there is only one day of the week suitable for the church to meet and worship. I would contend from Scriptures that the Sabbath has ALWAYS been the seventh day of the week, and God has NEVER changed the definition of Sabbath.
