I would suggest that the Scriptures are divinely inspired and may be inerrant in the original, however the space between their teachings and our actual lives is what measures a believer's authenticity. And among the most militant inerrancy soldiers there is wide and sometimes serious variations of interpretation.
So unless we suggest our interpretations are inerrant as well, the issue is actually moot.

FATHER if it be YOUR will, please bring healing to Marcus and may it bring much glory to YOUR name. And for his wife, please bring YOUR perfect peace to her heart and soul and their baby. Amen.

The Lord is near. In nothing
be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God. And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard
your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:5-7
